Meet Your Needs With On-site Training
Benefits of On-Site Training
- Save Money
You save money with on-site training, by not having to pay the travel expenses to send your staff to a workshop in another location.
- Customized to meet your training needs
The workshop is tailored to meet your needs. I talk with you beforehand to understand your staff's needs, the types of clients whom you serve, the types of problems the clients present with, your goals for the workshop, and how you will know that the training has been successful.
- Cost Recovery
Many of my clients recover the costs of the workshop by co-sponsoring the workshop with another agency, or by offering workshop spaces, for a fee, to outside participants.
- Pre-Workshop Materials
I give you suggested readings for the participants to read before the workshop. This helps them to get more out of the workshop.
- Follow-Up
I summarize the evaluation forms completed by the participants and submit this to you. To further solidify the learning, I offer follow-up workshops. It is helpful for the staff to practice using the model for a while, and then to attend a second workshop to further refine their skills and to increase their confidence.
